What is hanover shoe farm?

Hanover Shoe Farms, located in Hanover, Pennsylvania, is one of the world's leading breeders of Standardbred horses, particularly in the breeding of harness racing horses. It was founded in 1926 by Lawrence B. Sheppard and later owned by his son-in-law Gene Abbe, who helped shape the farm in the way that it is known today. The farm has bred and raised a vast number of champions over the years, including Hambletonian winners such as Green Speed, Speedy Crown, and Muscle Hill. Hanover Shoe Farms is also home to some of the top stallions in the industry, such as Betting Line, Captaintreacherous, and international superstar Greenshoe. In addition to its breeding program, the farm also operates a public training center for young horses and offers boarding and veterinary services to clients.
